DHCPv6

Abstract

From a birds-eye view, DHCPv6 is much the same as DHCPv4. Looking at the details, we see that much has changed and DHCPv6 has many improvements over its older brother. This talk will highlight the differences between DHCPv4 and DHCPv6, and will explain how DHCPv6 fits into the IPv6 ecosystem with automatic stateless address assignments.

Biography

Carsten Strotmann is a consultant/trainer for Men & Mice. He has been working in the field of DNS/DHCP and IP Address Management for 15 years and is currently very busy helping enterprise customers to move to IPv6.
