Cloud-Native Security With the OWASP Cloud-Native Application Security Top 10

Abstract

The cloud has lots of moving parts; things will go wrong. This talk aims to start a discussion around the OWASP Cloud-Native Application Security Top 10 and what we, as engineers, can do to address some of the challenges with cloud security. We will dive into one of the new additions to the OWASP Top 10 lists. Beginning with the most common challenges, I will discuss possible starting points to address each and what other potential steps we can take to secure our cloud-native applications. My goal is to spark some ideas on how you can handle the mentioned challenges in a manner that fits your context.

Biography

Filip has worked in IT for over 15 year, 8 of those years in cybersecurity with a focus on infrastructure and cloud security. Currently part of Xebia Security helping customers on their cloud journeys by using security to enable to organisation to grow securely and most productively.
