Writing a good mail autoresponder

Abstract

Writing a good autoresponder for email is not difficult, but there are a lot of trivial things that get in the way of making it easy. In this talk I want to show what you have to take into account and keep in mind writing an autoresponder and tell how I implemented this for our own autoresponder at Loohuis Consulting. I will also briefly go into how various systems generate their mails and how you can help making it easier for everybody who wants to write a proper autoresponder.
